Crawler Bulldozer Buying Guide
A bulldozer is bought on drawbar pull and blade capacity, not on price per tonne. Our SD-series crawler dozers cover 80 hp to 420 hp for land clearing, road formation, dam construction, landfill and mine stripping. Because dozers work in the harshest ground of any earthmoving machine, undercarriage specification and cooling capacity dominate lifetime cost, and both are cheaper to specify correctly at the factory than to repair on site.
How to size a crawler bulldozer

Five checks before you place an order
- Choose a straight blade for ripping and grading, a semi-U for mixed work and a U-blade for pushing loose material long distances.
- Swamp (LGP) tracks are essential in soft, sandy or wet ground; standard tracks are better for abrasive rock.
- Order a ripper if you expect frozen ground, laterite or weathered rock — the rear frame must be built for it.
- For 40 °C+ climates, confirm the enlarged radiator and pre-cleaner package.
- Ask for the transmission and final-drive brand and warranty terms in writing.
FOB quotation & shipping process
Ordering is the same for every machine we export. Send us the model, configuration and destination port; we return an itemised FOB Qingdao quotation plus a CIF figure within 12 hours. A 30% deposit starts production or reservation, the balance is paid against the inspection report, loading photos and the copy bill of lading. We handle customs declaration, fumigation, lashing, marine insurance and the CE / EPA paperwork required at your port, and ship by container or RoRo from Qingdao, Shanghai and Tianjin every week.
